Appearance: Kal at Union College Tonight

According to TimesUnion.com, Kalpen will be giving a speech tonight on pop culture and politics at Union College. Here is what they had to say:

Actor-turned-White-House-operative Kal Penn will be at Union College tonight for a speech on pop culture and politics.

Penn’s address starts at 7:30 p.m. He is scheduled to speak at Union Colleges Memorial Chapel in Schenectady.

Penn, the star of the “Harold and Kumar” flicks was an early supporter of Barack Obamas campaign for president. The White House tapped him in April to be associate director of the White House Office of Public Liaison.

They do mistakenly call Kal an Ex actor in their title post, which is a misunderstanding of sorts. As far as we know Kal’s stint at the White House is, at this point, only supposed to last one year. He will be back acting before you know it, in fact there’s talk of a Harold and Kumar Christmas film that has yet to be filmed.
